thanks everyone for the info
this car is a street legal( I live in NH so that is pretty easy ) track/time trial car
I have been building the car for 7 years
I bought the car salvaged with broken head studs and most of the body panels (including doors) missing
The car is a 1982 930 that I believe was a slant nose (has rear brake vents)
The car now has heim jointed suspension, rsr coil overs, s4 front brakes with the old fronts on the rear, a full cage, and non-slant bodywork from gt-racing ( hoping for sub 2400 lbs.)
When purchasing the heads from CMW they recomended these head studs over the ARPs although I am not sure if they are standard issue 993 head studs (did they make a 993 rsr?). I will double check the part # on them
I am using the 964 cams because of the broad power range. Where the evo cams make more peak power I think the 964s will come on a little more quickly
Also the heads are flame ringed
I am sticking with stock rods for now (running 6900 rev limit) but if $ were no object I would be first in line for a set of those Ti pauter rods
Thanks again for the help I will keep you posted on the rebuild
