I agree... it's a very cost-effective option.
The older revision of the MAP-ECU did not have ignition control/tunability, however, this new version does it all and at a fairly cheap price too! The Supra guys love these types of piggy backs.
The thing I'm not so sure about with the Greddy E-Manage is that it does not allow you to remove the Air Flow Meter once it's configured and tuned.
The MAP-ECU2 on the other hand, allows you to run in a MAP/speed-density configuration, totally eliminating that restrictive flapper box AFM in the intake tract.
I was considering an Autronic or Protomotive standalone ECU, but at USD$3k installed, I just can't afford it to be honest
