I stirpped out the interior on my 930 yesterday, seats, rollbar, carpets etc in preparation for doing a lightweight carpet kit.
After pulling the sound pad in the rear I boled in the drivers seat so that I could take it for a spin to see just how much louder it is.
Other than a couple of holes that were drilled through the firewall to run some wiring which were adding to the sound (and possibly carbon monoxide) It was louder but nothing that I won't be able to live with.
What I did notice though was some creeking noises as I went over speed bumps. Essentially when the front wasn't level with the rear.
Maybe its the lack of sound deadening, maybe the 2 degree Chicago weather, but I switched to coilovers last year and am concerned that maybe there is too much stretton the car. Or maybe there is something loose or broken somewhere.
Any suggestions or thoughts?
