The ECU is a EMS Stinger from, The ignition driver unit is also from them and specifically designed for this unit.

The wiring is shown below

This is a single plug setup, I have installeda 36-1 trigger wheel and magnetic sensor to go distributorless. The mechanic has had the car on the dyno and set the fuel and ignition maps up as far as 3500rpm when the second coil went.

As I do not own a dyno I have to let the shop do the work to dial in the ECU/EFI.

It is not outside the realms of possibility that they have blown the coils by incorrect setting of the dwell and blamed it on the coil pack. I only know for a fact the settings I had in the ECU when I took the car to them, not the changes they have made.
