the key to these heads is the D shaped exhaust port
this speeds gas exiting chamber and allows you to run as big an intake port as possible
there are also some other cool tricks like the "holy" valve retainers
Had a friend who bought/used a set of these in the early 90's on a N/A RS clone w/a big bore 3.0... seemed to be real pleased with them although no data available.
Also heard that the "D" shaped exhaust port was part of the hot lick on these heads...supposedly CMW offer a "D" port insert, not sure if they still do.
Have heard mixed reviews on the "holy retainers" something about too much oil run-off..
