Hello Gary,

I am currently doing similar project.
The heat exchanger remove needs your full attention!

After looking on the nuts there, for me was clear:
This needs to be a game, me against 12 nuts.
For me only 1 result was acceptable: 12:0

I went down in the garage nearly every evening,
sprayed them, turned each slightly for nearly
10 days.
At the end the result was 12:0,
but it was not easy!
Some of the barrel nuts I needed to cut with dremel.

But when all this old and heavy header/heatexchanger thing is off,
you will be very happy!

I have a question for the specialists here:
The new small oil cannister which is mounted on
the turbo has only one outlet.
The old black one has a hose connection to the IC.
Should I simply leave this vent hose off
and close the IC where the hose was before?
