Air pump removal and modifications

I have been thinking of removing the air pump and ancillary equipment on my '87 930.

I recently dropped my heat exchangers and boy what a ***** it was getting the studs and barrel nuts off... So my question is how bad and what issues will I face with the removal of the air lines which feed into the exhaust head...are they easy to strip.. can they be heated without damage... I know I have to plug up the holes. where you able to remove the lines without detroying them (I will want to be able to return the car to stock one day).

Also removal of the air valves and solenoids...issues concerns.

Cat pipe should I leave it on and plug it or get a replacement pipe.. ( I am not to concerned about emission issues where I live).

Lastly if I remove all this stuff ... should I leave the Lambda and frequency valve alone or would I need to do anything... gut feel is leave it alone... thoughts...
