I was told to run about 1 degree front rake in my car. If I run a 275/40/17 rear for a ride height of 25.66 inches, which of the following tires would be the best front to run:

245/45 height 25.7

245/40 height 24.7

235/45 height 25.4

235/40 height 24.4

I know rake is set in the suspension, but I am wondering how tire height co-relates to rake. I also know that these tires have slightly different widths, but I am strictly asking a rake related question here so I can understand it better.

I am thinking 235/45 gives me a slightly raked ride height but retains a pretty close overall height?

Is it a bad idea to run a tire like the 235/40 with a height over an inch lower than the rear?
