The front wheels centers need to be exactly where the stock ones are so you do not alter any of the geometry. The rear doesn't matter as they do not steer. The only thing that matters at the rear is the wheelbase and that will not be altered by wheels or backspacing.

The advantage of hub adapters is you can easily revert back to stock at any time.
