I have heard that the overboost cut out switches can vary quite a bit, even when new.

EDIT: I should have stated that you probably don't need a new switch, just alter the boost level with a new spring.
Also, some of the 964t/C2t guys move their switch from before the throttle plate to after it. This helps it getting tripped when you lift off the gas quick. Not really heard anyone say they bothered on a 930 although in theory a 930 with a long neck IC is svery similair.
