not sure what I want right now
See my post on the tech forum... do you have the struts off all of the cars? I'm trying to determine if there's any difference between the 85.5-86 struts and 87-88 other than one uses cartridges and the other has sealed struts. Right now I have sealed Gabriels on my car and am trying to come up with a cost-effective repair for the near-dead struts. I was thinking if I could get some 85.5-86 struts I could use Bilsteins and then I wouldn't have to replace the rears (I have Bilsteins on the rear of my car now.) Unfortunately Bilstein doesn't make an 87-88 front strut, hence this whole line of inquiry.
If you're able to tell me whether this will work or not I'd be greatly appreciative as I don't have any spare parts laying around to compare.
