Ok, so here's the deal at the moment. I put the clear line in for a test...Ben, that line is rated for 70 degrees, so it's just for the demonstration to myself. The line drains pretty well, actually. Theses photos are with the engine running, with about 20 PSI inlet oil pressure at the turbo at fast idle.

I just did a leakdown on the engine, and it is pretty much 94% except for #5, which is around 80%. The air hisses back up from the plug opening, so either the hose is not seated well in the 14mm plug hole (I did it dry at first and had 70%, and then anti-seized the crap out of the hose fitting, and got it up to about 80-85%), or there is something else weird going on.

Next stop is the valve covers coming off.

Did I mention this problem has been exacerbated since I switched to Mobil 1 15W-50 after the second oil dumping?
