Pro Pilot still sells the Ohlins for the R1100S at $1,547, ignoring the most recent price increase. They said it's "normal" for the price to be higher on a new model, so I could see $1,700-1,800 being a reasonable discounted price. With retail at the BMW dealer being $2,500, it looks like one would have to pay at least a $300-500 premium. I don't know what one could get for the original shocks, but probably not much. The factory option is the way to go. I was trying to see if/what Ohlins would offer directly, as I planned on spending almost $1,000 upgrading the Ohlins BMW provides.
