Injectors need to be the correct year model to match the fuel head assembly per Rarely's advice.

I've had both 79 and 89 injector blocks in my hand. The 79s measured 38mm inside diameter and the 89s measured 32mm inside diamerter. Best as I recall the threaded hole for the injector was the same on both models.

In the picture of your intake assembly it appears you allready have injector blocks. Can't you use these? Billet aluminum blocks won't make a lick of difference because the mating ports on the intake manifold are likely a limit at around 32mm unless you decide to enlarge them.
