I can't answer for him, but I can give generalities. Some say the P Gods didn't do it for space or more likely $$$. Other's say that the benefit of the dual plug doesn't show as quickly on the turbo's because of the flat piston. Obviously a high compression domed hemi piston bisects the flame front which doesn't happen with a flat turbo piston. The original 3.3 piston seems to be within the diameter that still works with a single plug.

Now, I'm not saying duals wouldn't be optimum. I'm saying that it seems to be less a cost:benefit ratio relative to high comp pistons. We all draw a line somewhere in the sand....its just a question of how far most of us step over it during our build
