There is a guy that use to make a engine mount for a normal jack on Ebay. I use to use one of these. It was a cradle and worked well. Keep in mind this was 15 years ago when I worked out of the garage. You can buy 'good" jackstands for trucks which give you the height and support you need. It will cost more than the units you get from Pep Boys for 13.00 but this is a safety measure. If you can score one of the cradles then you will be golden. You could also use a low boy tranny jack. It would do the same thing.
