I wouldn't change a thing on your car.
No body mods and no engine mods (except the chain tensioner and maybe an upgraded turbo).

Think about this: You have a 1979 930. Had it been upgraded in the 80's to an 80's look you'd have gold BBS rims, and cheesy colored trim all over the interior. It would look dated and horrible today. I think that a stock car is timeless and will always be a valuable representation of the year it was created. I think that any mod you do dates your car to the trend of that year/decade and make it less valuable both in $$ and aesthetically in the future.

If you can swing it, I'd buy a second 930 that is in bad shape and restore it using all the mod's you want. At least you'll be bringing a 930 to life rather than, well, destroying one from it's original design.
