I think that by going to the Garrett turbo you are going to get far superior response time and the car will feel faster as a result!!! There are many variants available in the GT series that would make you a happy camper!

Sorry to say but my Garrett was a direct fit. Call Chris at TurboKraft and he can tell you all about it.

My Garrett GT35R needed no modifications to my existing exhaust flanges to make anything work. I do use a new custom muffler but my old GHL muffler designed for the factory turbo would have bolted right to this turbo. The header to turbo flange was also a direct fit. Most people think Garrett turbos use a V Band clamp to fit your exhaust to but you can order them either way.

Just a little more info to help open up some options for you. Chris also has an install kit for the oil line that properly restricts oil volume as the Garrett ball bearing unit operates on much less oil than the Triple K unit does.
