How about altitude? the car was set up at sea level. I am operating the car at 5000 ft. In the plane we lean the mixtures out when we reach cruising altitude, keep it rich and cool for the climb. I have no experience with cars. Some one else told me that the octane rating was not as critical at this 5K feet altitude. I am not taking any chances. I am sure the AFR numbers will shed some light on this however i want a better understanding of whats going on. BTW the C02 sensor is unplugged if that helps.
