mine are the welded ones the louvered section isn't galvanized but you couldn't tell until i had stripped them for painting So I re coated the underside with that wurth bare metal anti rust paint similar to the por 15. then it went for the regular primer/undercoating etc. that the fenders normally get. the holes are slightly different from the stock holes so they couldn't be adapted to the stock linkage the difference was about 4 mm or so just enough to not fit but not enough to tell without measuring. the ones picture above are even better they keep the mud out of the back of the lights, I am still trying to figure out how to make some sort of fender liner that looks decent but is still functional and doesn't weigh a ton. The stock fender liners are also NLA
