The ZF ones are pants, minimal lockup on accel and nothing on decel, plus they're all worn out now and I'm told you can't get ZF spares anymore because ZF sold all the parts, tooling and rights long ago.

Buy a GT (Guard Transmission) one - if you rebuild a ZF, you'll have to do it with Guard parts anyway.

If you're in Europe, you could use a Gripper LSD instead - Tuthills have these on the shelf, or the lead on new units is quite short. I went with a Gripper because there was a long lead on delivery of GT units at the time.

I'm running a 40/65 Gripper right now, I like it a lot - much more than I expected to. Makes a huge difference, especially under braking, where the rear of the car feels totally different - even in conservative driving on the street.

I was led to believe from when I was looking around for an LSD that 930 and 915 LSDs are the same/interchangable anyway - but it's a little unclear from your post what gearbox you actually have...
