If I was ordering one I would ask that two bungs were installed, one before the muffler and one after the muffler. Both as near the actual muffler as practical.

Seems some get away with before and some have to fit the sensor after. I do wonder if it has to do with egt due to ignition timing, one vac pot or two on the dizzy, camshaft and its timing, length and material of headers etc etc.
