Nathan, It is not really the height of the carrera manifold, it is the angle at which the TB is located. On the 3.2L intake, the TB points towards the front of the car....and in the 3.3L intake, it points towards the rear of the car. The exit for this Bell I/C in on the right front side (towards the front of the car). It is just a 90 deg fitting and some silicone hose away from connecting to the TB. On the 3.3L, you would have to bring it under the I/C....unless you had Gerhart fab up a different exit point....

IIRC, Don sees only about 10 deg above ambiant temp, while in operation.....
