I'm biased. I have the -30-0-20 PSI VDO gauge, plumbed so it can "see" vacuum. I find it useful to be able to see the boost building - e.g. manifold vacuum diminishing. Makes it easier to predict..

I think if I were Serge above I would like to know if I hit 2 bar accidentally. Of course you could probably tell that by the Burnt piston!
