I have to agree twins make more sense, twin VNT even better. Porsche demo'd two driveline technologies on the 959. Sequential turbos - abandoned, and complex AWD - abandoned. The 959 is a great collector car but somewhat of a flop as a pedictor of things to come. Like many of the GM show cars...well, we did get the large fins for a while.

Sequential or series sequential are better for diesels than on wide speed range sporty car motors.
