I adjusted the brake pedal to match the gas pedal height when pressed, then I brake with the right-side ball of my foot and rotate the left side downward to blip the throttle. No heal involved, the pedals are close enough to cover with one foot. I also use this method with every street driven down-shift to stay in practice. ( the good news is your 914 uses the same pedal cluster, no need to re-train when you change cars)
