Mine is an '82. I believe they were rubber centred at least until mid '80's.
I could replace with rubber centre - but seems generally people go to spring centre. In which case will a spring damped friction disc fit straight in - do I need to change pressure plate too?
The pressure plate I have seems different to the SC one of same era - much deeper to accomodate the donut in centre.
Seems odd that an SC friction plate is adequate for the extra torque from a 930.
It has 130,000km on it - but it has also had a hard time prior to my purchase.
