l question the logic of this move, Porsche advises against it for structural reasons. The fact that you indicate your car is stock raises a flag also,the suspension and brakes will need a complete re-work to allow any balanced performance from the switch(according to Porsche).Having said that l have seen 18`s on early cars like yours and they can look good but it`s a cosmetic thing and not an upgrade,the extra unsprung weight will cancel out any improved roadholding. Your car is a 79? from age alone all the bushings are shot and need to be replaced and those low-pro hoops will exacerbate any suspension wear. post pics
