I've said this before (biased since I run 18's of course) but does Porsche recommend 22/31 TB's? Does Porsche recommend coil overs, huge sway bars and solid mounts? Does Porsche recommend aftermarket parts? Sure they came out to make a statement against 18's on earlier cars, but that is way before they started putting 19's and 20's on their new rides. I'm just saying that Porsche the company has different criteria for their rec's than we the enthusiast. If "P" came out and said not to run bronze bushings, would we all remove them and reinstall rubber?

It just gets old that "P" says something in a bulletin and we assume its the law. Obviously they have their reasons for saying it, but IT's not the only thing we do with these old beast that they would frown upon.

18's here 3 years and amazingly the windshield hasn't popped out of the old shell yet and that's at a bantam weight of 2325lbs.
