The above two post just shows the camaraderie within Pelican! Thanks too you both. I think I have it figured out... at least I hope. I finally had the time to sit back, and trace my steps from the rebuild. I believe I torqued the clutch down too much, which would explain why at hotter temps the clutch got worse(expansion). that would also explain why the outer ridge of the flywheel was so worn down (over torqued bolts adding pressure on the outside). I will also clean and check the throwout bearing, and take a wizzer to the flywheel.

If that doesn't work, I have delayed the inevitable. Its time to replace the flywheel, and all other clutch parts that were used as a summer daily driver for the past 29 years. I will let you all know the outcome, after I get my WUR back from Leask

P.S. I got the chance to check everything on the rest of the engine, and it is within spec, and handled 1K post rebuild miles like a champ!
