The only real practical difference I found was that with the TiAL you can readily source alternative springs which I couldn't do with the factory WG. With my application I use a very soft .5 B spring and an electronic boost controler to fine tune the amount of boost that I want. I was having a hard time limiting boost prior to introducing the boost controller to the setup. I also like being able to have a full boost setting and a limited (less than optimal weather/track conditions).
