Hello,
When I was rebuilding my Motor, I was told it was cheaper to buy a TIAL than rebuild the stock WG, especially if you added spring cost to the mix. I was also told that the stock parts were hard to come by.

Also, I got a Red TIAL to accent my red accented engine. I'm not sure I would choose a cheap wastegate for a engine worth $10-50K depending on where your engine is. The TIAL works Flawlessly. Very predictable. I've never heard anyone say theirs was stuck.
