I don't specifically know your ATV jack, but when I used mine, just like Mark said, I positioned it further forward to help with the balance thing. Also, I put a half sheet or smaller piece of plywood on top of the jack to increase the area supported by the jack so that I felt more comfortable with the C of G thing. I think it worked pretty good. Make sure the jack goes up far enough...Or have a couple of other jacks at the ready to raise the rear of the car enough after the engine and trans is released so you can pull them out with sufficient clearance.
