Ok here are the measurements I took today:
1) First
the 0.8 bar stock spring--------
Spring Length = 7.0 inch
Outer diameter = 2.70 inch
Number of effective coils = 5.5
Wire diameter = 0.196 inch
Installed height in WG = 2.5 inch
Measured spring rate = 22lb/inch
2) Now the
1.0 bar spring----------
Spring Length = 7.25 inch
Outer diameter = 2.70 inch
Number of effective coils = 5.5
Wire diameter = 0.212 inch
Installed height in WG = 2.5 inch
Measured spring rate = 27lb/inch
This should give you enuff information to order a custom spring if you do not find an OEM unit.
From my calculations......at installed height in the Wastegate, the 0.8bar spring force required to pop the valve is about 101 lbs. for the 1.0bar spring it is 124lbs.
