If the valves were done 10K miles ago, I think you are getting a safer car than a 60K mile one with valves ready to go (maybe).
Porsche bottom ends are strong. In unmodified form, 930s are really strong. As long as the car was maintained well, compression and leakdown numbers look good (to ensure rings are still sealing and cylinders are in good condition), I would not worry about the rest of the car. A well maintain 930 bottom end should easily go 150K miles, especially at stock boost levels.
My thought is, if you can get a good deal, PPI and your personal inspection check out - buy it and enjoy.
