Yes, I learned the expensive sound from sitting at 6900rpm lap after lap for ~6 sec at a time for about 1 season on the track
My car was not 100% stock at the time, but the expensive things (i.e. crank, rod, rod bolts, ...) were. And my result: bent valve because of valve float.
