In my opinion the higher prices on coupes in the secondary market us because most "true" drivers would prefer the structural rigidity and handling over that of an open top car. One would also think safety would be another motivating factor considering the potential and the history of the 930.

When new, you will always pay more for an open top car over a coupe, as it's an option. The cab offers 930 performance with the "look at me" panache of the top down. Posers luv'em... and that's not to say that everyone having a 930cab is a poser.

I probably biased as I lost a friend years ago that was riding in a 930 cab with a "poser" that didn't understand the potential under foot.
