As I understand it, the K27/7200 is very similar to the 3DLZ, just marginally better.

My $0.02? SC cams for a balance between off-boost response and better/more top-end (you get both), and a K27/HF. Much faster spool, way more mid-range and more top-end. More power, but no big step.

However, Kevin doesn't do the HF anymore, so it's a choice between the S and the HFS.

I figure that the S will spool faster, but not develop as much power up top, the HFS would take a little more to spool but just keep on going at the top.

With a 4-speed and primarily street driving, I'd guess that the S might be a good selection.

with a 5-speed, the HFS would be a shoo-in, I think.
'77 S with '78 930 power and a few other things.
