In general cross drilled rotors can be resurfaced, but you have to take them to someone who knows what they are doing. They have to be turned at a very slow rate, it takes them about 3x as long. As far as the cracks, It's my understanding that with hard use they will crack, they sell the cryogenically frozen rotors that helps resist the cracking. I don't have drilled rotors on my porsche so I'm out of my league in guessing the expected life of rotors. I'd check the thickness and look for deep groves, if either is out of whack, replace...
