Bingo. And what makes anyone think that drilling all over the U.S. would lower the price of oil?? Jyl recently posted some #s for the mule-fucher showing how little effect drilling known (reasonably large) reserves of oil in the world would have on supply/demand. The gas stations in my city haven't been running low during the latest price run-up. Plenty of (expensive) gas for all.
I would imagine that the 100k people signing this petition are the same ones who voted for Bush/Cheney, support the Iraq war and drive Suburbans. The math-challenged among us.
