should I adjust the valves myself?

I've had my 930 for over a year now. It's about time to adjust the valves. My plan all along was to do as much of the work as possible myself, but I always planned to pay a shop to adjust the valves. It just sounded like too big of a PIA for me to do myself.

Recently I got a 2 post lift installed in the garage. I've got the 930 up in the air to replace a torn CV boot. While I was looking around under the car I thought that it looked like the valves should'nt be a major hassle now that the car is up on the lift.

So the question is now that I've got the lift,... does that reduce the PIA factor of valve adjustment enough that I should do it myself?,...or is this a job better suited to a professional?

Thanks
