Here's a pic of the liquid to air. Its a Garrett and they were used on the Syclone/Typhoon turbo awd GMC trucks standard as well. I have hard metal line running to an aftercooler in the passenger wheel well(size of a big oil cooler) and a pump mounted up front. At 13 psi I have zero knock. Many Syclone people have run big boost through them and made retarded power with no issues at all.

Probably wouldnt be the best option for road racing but for drag racing and a fun street car it does wonders. Think about heat transfer going from 100* outside and going into a 60* room and then jumping into a 60* pool. Water absorbs that heat much better. The car originally used the stock Turbo II RX7 topmount IC with a fan. Worked well and I still have it if you wanted it. Cheap and gets the job done. Pics of the rx7 cooler:
