IA may have improved on what we did with the first head. I do not see why as we could get 10% or more flow with just adjustment. It could be that they developed it further and found that they hit a limit and developed what was necessary to work around the restrictions they latter found.

There is more to the Euro conversion than just plugging the frequency valve hole. I am rusty but think there is a plugging of an internal port to go with it.

Again, there is plenty of fuel in the head for most motors. Put a 930 on a dyno and take it up to where it is going lean and then push the metering plate down w a long screw driver and it will go rich.

Some one just needs to try an alloy metering plate that is 3/8's inch thick give or take and you will see it give more fuel up top. May have to reduce the diameter to tame how fast it richens.
