So, what you seem to be saying is even with permanent WUR boost delay, this still happens.
The rpm delay solenoid has no effect.
I'm sure you have been thru all this before, but the airplate on its own should not be capable of delivering an overly rich mix because the air/fuel slit ratio is fixed. The 930 boost surge is by additionally altering the WUR head pressure to intervene in this relationship. Adding weight to your airplate I would have thought would aggravate the problem - it would be the equivalent of softening the WUR head pressure. Since it acts on a lever principle and you are weighting up the lever that drives the fuel piston.
I will ponder this over next few days and if I can come up with a suggestion/explanation, will get back to you.
