US v Euro spec: what's different?

I have an 85 Euro 930 an 86 US 930. The Euro car seems much nicer to drive with more power through the whole rev range. Both cars are stock except for disconnected air pumps and B&B mufflers (without cat).
I see on another thread that maybe fuel heads are different, but what else?
If the heads are different, what is the actual difference? Are they interchangeable?

There is one major difference I have noticed - the US car has Jetronic box and some relays under the seat whereas the Euro car has none of this. Is this a difference between Euro and US models or a difference between 1985 and 1986 models?

Im not out for maximum power (yet!) but if there are simple changes that can be made to get the US car up to same performance, Id like to look at doing them while I have the engine out of the car.
