Thanks Nathan, however looking at my fuel head (= fuel distributor?), I don't have any electrical connections (see pic of US fuel head and airflow sensor) so I'm not sure what you mean there.

Does anyone out there really know what is different between US and Euro spec engines? It must be more than fuel heads!
I see in PET that fuel head and airflow sensors are different part numbers between 930.66 and 930.68 models. What is the actual difference between these parts?

I'd still like to know if the electrical bits on the floor under the seat of my '86 US car are specific to the US spec or are they parts that were new to the 1986 model. (My '85 Euro 930 doesn't have this.)

I'm beginning to think all of you with US cars are jealous of the Euro car owners and those with Euro cars don't want to let the yanks in on the secret!
