I assume you mean this is after buying NEW film, and then being able to have unfettered access to the covers?

I was sorta wondering if you could cut the film on there now and remove the cover with it on, then reapply and just have a seam. Look ridiculous? Source of moisture trap? Be OK? Or do you have to peel it off the cover itself to get the cover off?

If I peel it I'll have to decide black again or clear. And, no, no way I'd run the car sans - it's evident by looking @ the film how effective it is.

Oh I know the reasoning on the mirrors (but thanks!), just never noted it and now it's all I see 8-).
