Porsche Crest brakes

If you would like to save some money and still have great brakes, consider just leaving the "M" rear calipers on, and just doing the fronts only. I just read in a newer book called "Porsche 911 performance" by HP books, where the author, Mitchell Sam Rossi, turns his car into a full blown and very fast, serious and expensive racer, and according to he and other experts, the rears only do about 30% or so of the braking. Maby upgrade the rears to drilled rotors and HP pads, and just upgrade the fronts. I'm just replacing the front pads on my '82 930, pads completely worn out, rears have at least 2/3 of their material left. Both front and rear pads are factory originals...
Just an idea... Craig
