I had been hearing rumors of a Porsche/Honda cooperative venture for a long time. It looks like it finally happened, you know, sort of like the relationship between, say, Chevy, GMC, and Cadillac. Every 5th vehicle off of the Suburban assembly line gets called a Yukon, and every 6th one becomes an Escalade. So I wonder what the production ratio of CR/V's to Pepperwagens will be? I guess I can see now that this will permit a return to world-class racing and Porsche's roots. All they have to do now is use Honda's F1 motors, dust off the old chassis design, and - Voila! - right back into it, and they never missed a beat.
It seems to me that the last thing anybody, anywhere needed was another uninspired, look-alike, me-too SUV. Overall, it just looks like Porsche marched right into the abyss of mediocrity with everybody else.
But, hey, they're making so much money they can afford to do it...
