So would it be OK just to simply unplug one and then plug the other in? I'm thinking it wouldn't be and that you'd have to swap the sensors over? Either that or reset the timing with a timing light which wouldn't be very convenient at the side of the road.

Maybe I'm far off here, I just don't know...
